Accessorize Yourself!

Necklace, earrings, bracelets, anklets - name it from head to toe, there are special accessories to add glamor. Just like your favorite accessories at home or room, girls also have their favorite fashion statement to complete their get up. Lusterforever is just one of the huge sites you can surf from.

My personal choice would always be bracelets because of its simplicity and a touch of femininity every time girls wear it. Silver bracelets are on my top list base on its use since you can have them on anytime and in any occasion. Just like charm bracelets, you can use it everyday, be it in the office, on casuals and even while partying or just having a leisurely walk at the mall. Well lets add the price to that since other silver bracelets have their whooping prizes so better wear it safely or you’ll invite those eyes who enjoys snatching leaving you teary eyed.

Different designs people wear only shows different personality. Other girls prefer leather bracelets; some are gold, pearl, etc. but for me as long as these accessories or jewelries match the outfit and would not be an eyesore, that’s absolutely fine. Be fashionable, be beautiful!

I love music!

Smash the tv but don't ever leave me alone without music in my ears. Ever since I was a kid, I always love music. I love singing, but kind a frustrated in playing some instruments. Well I know to play few keys on guitar, few beats on drums, few widows on keyboards and a bit of flute. Sadly it was all just "a bit". I have been participating in our church's music ministry few years back, that's why I learned to play some instruments, but never professionally. But anyway, at least I know some basics :). I just thought myself how to do it but since I became busy with other stuffs such as work and some other things, I never engaged myself enrolling in some music schools (plus the fact that it's quite costly) Yay!

Still I learn to appreciate music a lot! Whenever I do my errands, I'll be doing it non stop when there's music playing in the background. I love any kinds of music especially when you match it up with your mood, you'll most likely appreciate every beat, melody and lyrics. What I'm doing now? Listening to music launch in YM while writing this article :).

Mom's Day

Mothers's Day is fast approaching. For all those moms out there, let me just greet you an advance warm Mommy's Day! Moms are one of the greatest people on the earth. They might all have their differences, faults or flaws, but we can never hide the fact that we came out from their womb to experience what God has created on this place we called, earth. Let us always look on the brighter side, we live because of them, we were loved because of them. People will turn their backs on you but mothers will not. We may leave them but we're always welcome to come back. Moms are our home, our shelter and our refuge.

Mothers day

Let us appreciate what they've done and what they are so willing to do not just because it's Mother's day. Let us be spontaneous telling them we love them at any time and at any cause. It will never be too late as long as they're here. To my mom, I love you because you're perfectly imperfect! If I may die and live again you will always be the one I would love to run to. Thanks for the One who brought you to our lives. Happy Mother's Day.

MRE: Meals-Ready-to-Eat

A friend from U.S. gave us MRE yesterday. It’s my first time to see one of those and I’m quite excited to see what’s inside the package. I’m really curious about this food’s life span. Imagine you can store it for 10 years! Yes, and even more than that! It has an excellent packaging to withstand rough conditions and exposures to elements. Amazing right? Hmmm ….. I wonder if there could be scarcity of food, people would definitely search for this. Unfortunately these are not available in public and it was also prohibited to sell on Ebay because of the risk from the heaters and matches inside the package. They cannot be shipped by certain carriers. I did some research because I find MRE quite intriguing.

MRE or Meals, Ready-to-Eat is said to be a self contained meals which is the current operational ration for U.S. military. It provides all the necessary nutrition soldier needs to sustain themselves. You will see the nutrition facts on each package. MRE comes with different menus. Currently it has 24 different menus to choose from but they make changes every year.

What’s inside MRE? You will find these things inside the package:

  • The entrée – these are the main course
  • Side dish – it could be rice, potatoes, corn or some other types.
  • Cracker or Bread – I got scone cinnamon last night and cracker w/ apple butter
  • Dessert – cookies or pound cakes
  • Beverages – it maybe a coffee, tea, drink mixes, cocoa or dairy shakes
  • Seasonings – I got cute Tabasco last night J
  • Accessories – condiments such as creamer, sugar, salt, wet wipes, spoon, matches, gums
  • Candies – it could be Skittles, M&Ms, or Tootsie Rolls
  • FRH – Flameless Rational Heater, used to heat the entrée. (The part I’m curious about)
For those who want to find out how FRH works. I searched one from Youtube.

We tried the Cheese and Vegetable Omelet from 2007 menus. It comes with the omelet, hash browns with bacon, toaster pastry crackers, cinnamon scone, apple butter, sugar free beverage, seasonings and accessories.

Disappointed with my ISP

I had my internet connected for almost a month. I just chose the 512 kbps speed instead of a lower one. Before, I used to have a broadband connection from the "S Bro". But after few months of intermittent and super low connection I decided to change it to DSL. An agent came in our village and offers us a promo package which includes a landline and internet connection. They made some credit investigations, ask for some documents, plus some other stuff. At first they promise it will be installed for 3 - 5 days. Unfortunately it was installed after a week. After installing the landline, I waited for 2 days for the dial tone and then other days for the modem. Sigh. That was one fact quite annoying. I never get mad at first. What I did was called their hotlines following up the installation.

After days of browsing, surfing, researching or whatever it is over the internet, I thought I wouldn't have any problems calling them again. Not until my connection became unstable. That was another fact disappointing. I called their hotline and reported about the frustrations I'm going through. Telling them I am totally disappointed of what was happening. I talked to about five customer reps a day just to find results. Then someone from their tech support called me informing that they will reset the port from where I am connected. What comes after that? Just more than one week ZERO connection. Grrrrrr!!!! I was totally pissed off but I still manage to compose myself. From 5 Customer reps a day it became 10. I do work online and a full week no connection is a great loss. It even came to a point that I need to talk to the supervisors, actually two supervisors. I've gone tired hearing the same words from CR's and waiting for nothing (In fact I had memorized their lines). I even demanded them to call me instead me calling them for updates. Well the last supervisor handled my complaint a lot better than the first one, apologizing and empathizing from what had happened. Unfortunately there's nothing they can do but also wait for their technical support for updates of what was really going on. I was so disappointed and I told them that I want to send a complaint letter and refund everything from them and end their service.

Finally a tech supp called and told me that they will transfer my connection to a different port. I told them “that’s what I’ve been telling you before”, after resetting the port and no results, they should have transferred it to a different one. Maybe telling them about the complaint letter got them worried that’s why they decided to make the transfer. Well, I’m quite uncertain about that. I was about looking and inquiring for another ISP when they restored my connection since I’m not satisfied of the speed. I then called their hotline to inform them that upon checking speedtest it only gave me less than 100 kbps. That’s unfair I am paying for a higher fee and that’s only what I get? Well, to wrap things up, my diligence of calling and even startling them resolve my torment. One more anguish and a call awaits them.

Marketman just got me...

I normally visit Marketman's blog to see his new article regarding foods. As I read the first few lines yesterday, it really got me because he was telling a farewell to all his readers. I really felt bad at first knowing that he's not in good shape. Despite his anonymity, he's been idolized by too many readers just like me. Having hundreds of comments just as early morning, it kept me reading scanning every word in the article. Maybe they do felt the same way I did. At first it looks like real but I do have a bit of an idea that it might be part of the April Fools Day. Since the whole article can't be seen in the first page I quickly clicked the "read more" link.

The truth just revealed on the next page. My intuition was right but I admit it, Marketman just got me. Ha ha.. We were laughing we just got ourselves victimized yesterday. What a relief! I’m still looking forward to see more of his adventures in the future.

Happy April Fools Day everyone!!!!

Rot, got her stud

I was busy these past few days and I haven't written any yet since almost a week. I just got my dog stud this week. It’s a female Rottweiler. She was so cranky since the mail dog was too wriggly and maybe she’s too annoyed by that, plus the fact that the male rot was bigger and heavier than her. I'm quite bothered that she might accidentally bite the shooter. She used to be a very nice dog and she doesn’t frequently bark or howl. On her years with us it was my first time to see her so mad that she wanted to attack the male rot. It took us almost 20 minutes or more to get it done. I then realized being a shooter is not an easy task, knowing you'll do it with two temperamental dogs. Good thing the male rot was their pet. I made myself busy feeding my pet to catch her attention while the male rot was doing his thing. We didn't hire a shooter since the male rot's owner decided he'll be the one doing it. He even managed to that without having our dogs mouth shut. Imagine how scary that part was. He's too bold. We'll its fun and frightening at the same time. He was talking to his dog to relax while we're talking to ours to be patient.

We need to get her stud twice. But the second one is tougher than I thought. She's again so mad and it took us more than half an hour to get it done. Finally after 2 consecutive attempts we are done. Rottweilers are very sensitive when pregnant. She can't play and run anymore. We need her to be safe from distractions, hide her from cats of some neighbors. She's too mad and had killed cats before. She doesn't have her dog house since she had a place in the garage and used to play around there. It’s not good for her to run around the house so we need to tie her up. Today I'm taking good care of her and expect puppies after two months. These will be her first babies. I just hope they live since she had a miscarriage before. I always talk to her to keep her puppies safe in her tummy and don't move too much. I love her a lot and even if I used to be alone at home, her company doesn't make me feel like one. Now I need to mark my calendar for her delivery. I am now crossing my fingers to have puppies in June. I'll keep you guys posted.

Summertime

Its super hot this March. I can feel the heat through my veins. I've been craving for fruits such as mangoes, singkamas (turnips), watermelon, pineapples, coconuts (buko), and other mouth watering fruits. I prefer eating these fruits when chilled. Greenmangoes with bagoong or shrimp paste; singkamas with vinegar, salt and a little chili; Chilled buko juice thats still on its shell. haysss... It is so relaxing to sit back and relax while eating these fruits.

Don't ever forget the cool and sweetened halo halo. You can find it just anywhere. They're just blocks away from home. From php10, 15, 20 and above. Every stores near my home have their own strategies on how to crash ice. From the traditional way of scraping manually giving the scraper sweat all over before filling up the halo halo glass, and the high tech ones that can only be plugged. Let me just imagine how many ingredients we can find in halo halo? Halo in english means mix. Let me call it mixy mix. Cool huh. First the crashed ice, milk, sugar, then the sweetened bananas, sago, jellies, macapuno, white beans, black mongo beans, kaong, langka, pinipig, nata de coco; the toppings ube, leche plan and a scoop of ice cream. Did I forgot something? Oh well what can I say.. Just hmmm really mouth watering. Can't wait to have one after writing my post here. Lols.

One more way to enjoy summer. Nothing else but SWIMMING!!!!. Its a very lovely day being with your loved ones and families enjoying God's nature, the water. And sometimes meeting new friends on places like resorts specially for singles. This is one way to go to the outside world and start to meet new people. Swimming, playing, chatting and the most special way to enjoy... EATING.

Go ahead and enjoy summer!!! Just always remember to take a bunch of care and watch out for the foods you eat.. Have a wonderful vacation to everyone.

Ended up Im the one explaining...

Normally when we want detailed information we call CCR (Customer Care Reps). We expect that these people are fully equipped regarding infos of the services they offer. I was checking my remittances on my SSS this morning and since I was unable to leave home I just went browsing to see my updates. I called three different branches to gather more informations and it ended up I'm the one telling them what I have read in their website. They were all giving me a different informations that leads to confusion. Been very patient talking to them. Well it ended up I'm the one explaining not them. Hehe. I even read what I have researched over the phone and when they finally understood, they just sticked to what I have said. My last line was "So what you're saying lately was wrong, right?". Seemed they agree. I dont have any intentions of embarrassing them but if I could be a way to prevent misinformation why not tell them whats right..

Iron Chef

Lets just say I love eating that's why I also like watching cooking shows. I was just influenced by my best buddy to watch iron chef. Every time we had our meal on breakfast we make sure our eyes are also stuck at this cooking show on youtube. Felt like eating with a gourmet even if theres only "tuyo" (dried salted fish) on our meal. ahihi:).

I cant forget Chef Morimoto and Bobby Flay's battle in New York. Because of time constraint chef Morimoto was unable to finish all his prepared dish making Bobby flay stand on the chopping board raised his hand as if he already won. I noticed that all the judges were Americans and I was uncertain if Morimoto will win. But judgment calls for the one who deserves it. Morimoto still is the Iron Chef.

I admire Japanese in their discipline and great respect on their work. It was indeed a good fight. At the end you'll be judged not just to your finished product but how you perform in finishing it. I just smiled when someone commented "how would you eat in someones restaurant if your unsure he didn't stepped on his chopping board before he cooks". Maybe it was very overwhelming for him but you cant blame people to make such comments. Next time if you'll be in national tv, take an extra care.

Destined or should I say planned.

Do you believe in destiny? As i was looking back, reminiscing my childhood I got interested on asking what its all about. Destiny define as "an event (or a course of events) that will inevitably happen in the future". I also remembered my high school days when I was asked "what do you think you'll become after 5 or 10 years?" It was way back too far from the present but now I can see myself how I become.

We never chose the family we want to grow with. They are part of the Master's plan that we dont have any control of. As the moment we open our eyes they were already there no matter who or where they are from. When all I knew was crying, giggling, eating and sleeping as little baby I have no idea what would I become or whats in stored for me in the future. As human we have our instincts and we are capable on doing things without no one telling us. But the kind of life ahead of us are beyond our instincts and knowledge. Is there really someone out there who knows our future?

There are no identical people. Not even twins, triplets or alike. We are born in a different circumstances. Some were born with golden spoon and some doesn't even have a spoon.
I describe myself as not that too fortunate. Yes, I'm surrounded by good people that creates every part of me. But I was also designed from the hardships and challenges that whenever I look back at it I could still taste the bitterness and also the sweetness of its effect. It was tough.
There are times I wanted to choose a different life, different family a different me. Wishing that it was just a nightmare that whenever I wake up, it'll all be gone. I always dream to have a perfect life like everyone does. But sometimes too much expectations yield to frustrations and disappointments. I started questioning if I was destined to have a good future why is there a need to feel doomed. Life was not too easy for me. At a young age I have to work hard to get what I need because theres no room to get what I want. I thought I was forbidden, thought I was left behind. I envy, I complain, I grudge.

Time came and I told myself enough of that crap!! Enough on asking "why" and start on thinking "how". Stop grouching, stop hating. I realized that i had overlooked an important part. That is the maker of the plan, the maker of the destiny. Every circumstances have their purposes. Everything will work together for good for those who love Him. I forgot the meaning of being silent, that is "to listen". Listen that can only be heard with understanding, understanding that allures appreciation then on moving on.

Time had passed by and Im now looking at myself, how I'd become and who I am now. I may not be wealthy but im not dissatisfied. Life may still be hard but I believe Im safe.I have wept in the pass but it doesnt mean Im weak in my future. I may cry now but I can laugh tomorrow. I've been more thankful how my past drew me to be Me. It might be my destiny but moreover it was His plan.

Out of place planes and cars!!

Someone told me about planes parking anywhere. At first I thought it was a joke. In my ideas it can only be seen on airports and places of famous people. Thought it was all edited. Not until i got proofs. I checked my Google Earth and its true!! Video also includes some funny views. Enjoy watching and you'll find yourself laughing alone like me. :D

Love me for what I am..

Every single life wants to love and be loved. For us human we have different explanations of what love is. Some are base on their own experiences, what they feel, what they witnessed, etc, etc, etc.
There are uncountable meaning of what love really is.

But I've been thinking, do you agree when someone tells you "love me for what I am"? For some cases it is reasonable. Being handicapped is one example. Basically when your unchangeable. But when it comes on people's personality it makes a difference. Is this somehow an escape or in denial of your flaws. Did you ever think that its your pride that matters most when you tell these words? Sometimes people gets cold in their relationship but never even assess oneself on reasons why. When for example your lazy, can you tell someone love me for what I am? Most of us are looking for someone to blame. Overlooking the rooms for improvement.

Remember flaws can be flawless. Love is an open rebuke. Love is not selfish. Love communicates. Most of us fail to notice.

Before telling someone 'love me for what I am", ask yourself are you the "you" to be loved...

Pinoy Money Talk

Since i got my dsl installed last week , i make myself busy on how to earn online. Before engaging to a new one i started reading some of the threads on this site. As a newbie i hardly understand some of the abbreviations but get used to it after hours of reading. In Paid to click programs all you need to do is click on the sites wait for seconds to have your account credited. By how muchh? get $0.01 per click. Payout yields from $3, $5 $9 and $10. Wondering how long would it take for you to reach the payout. Some says months others years. Have some referrals so the more clicks your group have the fastest you earn. Some sites offer referrals but you need to pay for it or upgrading your account. But unfortunately not all of these programs extend their services. Others were complaining they cant log in anymore but somehow thankful for the times they got paid. . But in rapping it up i found the site very helpful on making you decide whether you join a particular program or not. More helpful reviews on the site especially for Filipinos.

Just click the title to get through the link.

Moments

Sometimes in your life you feel sad, alone or empty. You shed your tears (especially when hearing sad songs), you cry alone, loosing hope, even thinking of the worse to come. Every individual encounter these feelings. No one can never say no even you whose reading this.

But we all differ in handling these situation. Others drink, some cries alone, to a friend, to family, to God. While others shop, read, travel, engage in sports, making oneself busy at work, sing, dance or even worse loose their own breathe. Some are optimistic while others are pessimistic. No matter what the reason behind, broad or narrow, big or small, deep or low we all have our own way and decisions facing this kind of emotion.

Even the most intelligent people have their sad moments in life. Do they act intelligently? I always heard the quote " Its easy to give advise to others but not to yourself". Somehow its true but might also be wrong. Its easy to tell but really hard to act upon. Hard because of fear and doubts. But whats hard when your bold to do so? Clearing our minds keeps us focus. Prayer is a powerful tool even if others don't believe it. Whats the loss when u pray? You will never know you're being comforted. By whom? Its only you who can answer it. You might have tears left but you'll be able to forget you ever had.

Font..

thinking of an eye friendly font color.

Am I Open Minded??

I got interested with this personality test from moccalyn. Just tried and all i said was hmmm. ...I am open minded :)

You Are 52% Open Minded

You are a very open minded person, but you're also well grounded.

Tolerant and flexible, you appreciate most lifestyles and viewpoints.

But you also know where you stand firm, and you can draw that line.

You're open to considering every possibility - but in the end, you stand true to yourself.
